Does it work?
I know I said I’d be making a post by the end of last week, but life happens. I tried using my camera to document the whole experience but the video kept crashing (time for an upgrade). So instead I was forced to use pictures. I would have prefered video but hey, it is what it is.
If you’ve been on Instagram or Facebook, I’m sure you’ve seen an advertisement for Black Mask, Purifying peel-off Mask pictured below. I’ve probably see the advertisement 20 times before I decided to give it a try. I decided to place my order and it took over a week to actually get it in the mail from the time I ordered it online.
I pulled my hair back and washed my face as instructed. I did not use any special face cleanser only soap and water. Then towel dried my face off with a towel. I applied the mask as directed. I applied it twice to ensure good coverage. I covered my entire face with an exception of my forehead.
I allowed the mask to dry for 40 minutes (I actually did yoga while it was drying). After the 40 minutes I began to peel off the mask. It was easy to peel and came off in one piece. My skin did feel a little softer but not dramatically softer. I examined the peeled off mask and saw little white specks on it, especially on my chin and around my nose. My face still had white spots or blackheads, so the mask doesn’t get every single thing off your face. I would imagine it would work better used multiple times like 3-4 times a week to effectively remove all blackheads.
Overall I would say this product does in fact work. I plan to use it a few more times throughout the week to see how effective it is. I will do a follow-up after I complete my trial.
Thanks for tuning back in!
